10859 - Warranty and Support - Important Changes to Customer Call Handling Through Customer Support

Information:

On 1 March, 2012, Promethean will launch a new telephone menu system known as IVR (Interactive Voice Response). This offers customers who have registered their Promethean products access to free telephone support** and faster resolution of queries by prioritising them ahead of those calling about non-registered products. To gain the additional benefits from this new IVR system, please ensure that you have registered your Promethean products.

In addition, registering your products will give you a free extension on the warranty - please visit www.prometheanworld.com/warranty for more information on Promethean’s warranty options and to register your products.

Please note: If your previously purchased Promethean Interactive Whiteboards, ActivEngage Software and Projectors are not registered before 29 February, 2012, you may not receive warranty extensions, prioritised support, or free telephone support (where available). Registration of products is easy, however, should you require a copy of our User Guides in English, please visit www.prometheankb.com and search for 10838.

If you have been sold ActivCare Plus Warranty Packs, please ensure that these are activated within 90 days from the date of installation.

Please note: - In countries *** where ActivCare Plus is included with all ActivBoard/ActivBoard Systems, Promethean will automatically update warranties upon registration so that there is no further need to activate ActivCare Plus warranties. Products in these countries must still be registered via the EUR or GID.
